Chop chop chop!

I am chopping off my long hair.  When I was in Hawaii in August, my hair was insanely long.  It was down midway my butt.  It was LONG, jet black, and HEAVY AS EFF!!!!!  I had my cousin (and my haircutter) chop off enough hair to reach my boobs.  That was still too long.  Since then my hair has grown to new lengths and is now more than halfway down my back, and still jet black.

I found a new hairstyle I like and will be heading to Rudy's Barbershop on 13th and Couch.  I will be cutting off so much hair, I will be able to feel wind on my neck yet again and I won't be able to put my hair up into the ponytails I have grown accustomed to.  I'll post up before and after pics :D

I am.

SOOOOOO CONTENT.

I have Tuesdays off this semester while Haiasi has school from 8am - 4:30pm.  I woke up at a reasonable time and looked at my list of things to do.  Usually on days like this when I feel glum and whatevs, I throw on some feel good clothes.  Boots, brown leggings, black dress, and light brown bomber jacket.  Hair is a mess, but I don't mind cause I feel like a million.  Katie taught me to do this.  I miss her and Kate a bunch.  Yucky mood + fabulous clothes = a much happier Cherish.

I went to the library, deposited my work check on 6th and Jefferson, and caught the streetcar to Powell's.  I really enjoy walking about by myself in the city.  Because I already know the area, it's nice to focus on the people surrounding myself.   I take the Central Library for granted as well as Powell's.  I forget at times how fascinated I am with books.  I'm not a "literaturist," but I do enjoy those DIY books that I wish I could buy and Haruki Murakami's selection.  I need to ask David Clark what he recommends me read next.  I picked up those little square gift boxes that contained a tiny how to book and a mini mortar and pestle, the annotated version of Nabokov's Lolita and an Emma Magenta book that I will be giving to my sister.  katie bought me my first Magenta book that helped me get through a very tough time in my life.  I passed my version down to a friend in a similar situation, and now I will be giving one to my sister because she's an angsty teen who could use the book.

The future seems bright.  Really. Haiasi will be applying for Blizzard's internship and I have high hopes of him getting it.  He'll be in Cali for the summer and then he graduates in September.  If all goes well, I graduate in December 2010, if Haiasi is in Seattle or Cali I'll be moving down with him.  I can then FINALLY set up my print studio and find a job to pay for rent.  I know it sounds so simple and unglamorous, but if you know me, then you know how I get with my little crafts and paper related items.  I simply cannot wait :)

Haiasi and I will be making 2 years in November, but Halloween marks our first conversations :) It excites me when I read our past convo's on.....DON'T TEASE!!!.......MySpace >___< For our anniversary I will be handprinting those messages and framing it.  That kid can surely drive me up the walls, but he completely completes me :) We make a good team in so many ways and I can't even begin to explain how generous and patient he is with my stubborn ways.  He's a keeper!!

I found out last night that when our lease is up, Colin will be moving out.  I'll still be here till March so I'm looking for a roomie.  Preferably someone I know.  If not, then I will have a room to store my crafts in till the big move.  I have rambled on for a bit and now I am off to clean, organize, and sort through my cluttered house.

=UPDATE=
My boots and knit dress have been shipped! I'm excited cause I have not gone shopping for myself in a VERRRY long time :P
